7 Smart Food Choices You Can Make If You Want To Avoid Cancer
You do not want to live in fear of getting Cancer but it is always good to make educated food choices.
Why choose foods that are filled with additives and preservatives when you can for instance easily read labels and put things back on the shelves that are obviously not beneficial to your health.
These 7 foods are some you should avoid.
1) Hydrogenated Oils
Hydrogenated oils are used to preserve processed foods and give them a longer shelf life, but did you know that
hydrogenated oils also alter the structure and flexibility of cell membranes throughout the body, which can lead to a many debilitating diseases.
A better choice is to get in the habit of reading the labels of the food you are buying and look for healthier oils like olive oils or canola oils.
2) Canned Tomatoes
In fact tomatoes are very good for you, unfortunately, it is the lining of most canned food that is the culprit.
Most canned foods contains bisphenol-A (BPA), a chemical that acts as an estrogen and disrupts hormonal activity in the body. A better choice would be to purchase your a jar of tomato sauce, rather than a can of sauce. If you are able to do your own canning, that is another option. Not all tomato products come in jars, but reducing the amount of canned food is a wise choice.
3) Processed Meats
Processed meats contain sodium nitrite, which is used to give cured meat its pinkish color and increase its shelf life. However, this ingredient is a precursor to highly carcinogenic nitrosamines — potent cancer-causing chemicals that accelerate the formation and growth of cancer cells throughout the body. Best to avoid hot dogs and sausages, jerkies, bacon and luncheon meats. All of these food are high in sodium nitrate.
If you enjoy eating meat read your labels and choose uncured meat products made without nitrates, and preferably from grass-fed sources.

Not only that, you will then use nice wholesome real butter instead of synthetic flavorings that are filled with yet another list of things that are not good for you.
6) Farmed Salmon
This is another high-risk cancer food. Farmed salmon is often contaminated with flame retardants, pesticides and antibiotics, as well as carcinogenic chemicals known as PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls), banned toxins found in materials like asbestos.
Studies show that farmed salmon is fattier than wild salmon. This means they have more omega-3s, but it also means they are likely to accumulate higher levels of toxins such as PCBs.
The best thing you can do is to make wise food choices and consume only wild Alaska salmon.
7) Soda Pop
Soda is full of calories, sugar and artificial ingredients. There is no nutritional benefits to drinking soda.
