8 Things we hope don't get cut from 'Game of Thrones' Season 5
One of the toughest things about adapting a book to film is deciding what to include and what to exclude. There simply isn't enough time or budget to include everything! How does one decide what characters can be left out without dramatically changing the story? What scenes and details can be removed without interrupting the plot and flow? For those who don't read the book or books, they don't know what they are missing! For those who have read the book or books, it can be shocking, frustrating, maddening and disappointing. Creators of 'Game of Thrones' are faced with these decisions each season. Here are eight things we hope don't get cut from 'Game of Thrones' season 5.
We hope to see Bran and Hodor in season 5! We love the fireball throwing Children of the Forest and hope get to know more about them. Griff and young Griff's introduction don't appear to be in the works and that would be a huge disappointment, as they are an integral part in the end of 'Game of Thrones'. The Brotherhood was left out of season 4, however if the series sticks to the books, they should pop up in Season 5. If Lady Stoneheart is cut from next season, we are unlikely to see them return.
Often story lines and journey's have to be shortened or omitted due to time and budget restraints. We hope that doesn't include Tyrion's Journey or Cersei's prophecy! Will the Kingsmoot be cut entirely from the series as suggested? We certianly hope not and hope that the Ironborn is introduced. Wasn't Lord Wyman Manderly's speech, "The North Remembers" awesome! I hope we get to see more of this cheer worthy character! Finally, what about Arya's final sentence in her last chapter in "A Feast for Crows"? It is huge!
