The ingredients you will need for the crust recipe include some vanilla wafer crumbs, brown sugar, and some melted unsalted butter. To make the cheesecake recipe crust start by lining the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan with some parchment paper and set aside. Then combine the vanilla wafer crumbs and brown sugar, and stir in some melted butter. Next press the crust recipe mixture evenly into the bottom of the springform pan and halfway up the side. Set aside in the refrigerator to set the crust while making the filling recipe.

For the pecan filling recipe, you will need some sugar, dark corn syrup, lightly beaten eggs, chopped pecans, and vanilla extract. A test to see if the cake is done is to use a toothpick inserted in the center and see if it comes out almost clean. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake in with the oven door closed for approximately one hour.Run a knife around the edges of the cheesecake but don't take out of the pan until completely the cheesecake is cooled.
