What would you do if one of your glorious days started with a breakfast pizza? First, I will thank Becky for sharing this pizza recipe. Second, I'll be motivated and I'll always look forward to the next morning, and third, I can die in peace. Alright, the first two are great to hear, but the third, I don't think I'll let you die. Not yet, my friend. Not until we talk about pizza and a little about the history of its name. This time, you'll also have the opportunity to thank the creator of this recipe because I will introduce her to you. *winks*

Pizza is an oven-baked flat bread generally topped with tomato sauce and cheese. It is sold fresh and frozen. The modern pizza was invented in Naples in Italy. Its dish and its variants have since become well-liked in many parts of the world. I love Italy now! *winks*, By the way, are you familiar with Neapolitan Pizza? Yes, it's one of the best! I agree to that! Neapolitan pizza is safeguarded in the European Union as a Traditional Speciality Guaranteed dish in 2009. It is requested by Italy itself. *smiles* Anyway, that's a little trivia. For the origin of the name 'pizza', it is still uncertain. There are many suggested etymologies of this dish and one of these is The Old High German term 'bizzo' or 'pizzo' which means 'mouthful'. It is then brought to Italy by the Lombards in the middle of the 6th century. Another suggested etymology is the Italian word 'pizzicare' which means 'to pluck'. It refers to pizza being plucked quickly from the oven.

Now, I know you've been waiting for this. I'd like you to meet Becky Hardin. Becky's mom taught her how to make this dish. *silence* Bless her mother for creating this breakfast pizza. You're the woman! *winks* Anyway, just like some of you... ok, just like some of us... Or me, Becky didn't know how to cook until she's 30 years old. On my thirtieth birthday (August 20, 2012), something snapped. I was overcome with fear and anguish at my lack of domestic skills. What about when I have kids??! What about when I get married??! (Becky & Pat andI got engaged in October 2012 and married in September 2013. I guess good food really is the way to a man's heart! :) I knew I had to make some changes to my domestic life. Of course...I called the best cook I know...my mom. I had to cook something...THAT NIGHT. I had to know how to cook...IMMEDIATELY. I began my quest at desperate homemaking, says Becky. She creates the Cookie Rookie blog a month later. According to her, cooking is just a hobby, but later on, she falls in love to it.

Well, I hope that motivated you as well. *winks* Anyway, now it is time for you to enjoy! The link to the recipe is found on the "The Cookie Rookie" website below.
