The creator of this recipe site is Ashton, who started the blog in 2010 after she had her first child. She was a stay at home mom and thought she would try her hand at blogging, as she had seen some of the other stay at home mothers trying it. For her writing about food seemed to be a natural choice, with desserts being the thing she liked best about all foods. It is safe to say she has a bit of a dessert obsession. It took time for her to learn about the photography, food styling, food journalism, how to bake and social media that went along with food blogging but eventually she did. She enjoys being an entrepreneur and a small business owner. The site has become her full-time job. She has the opportunity to work with big brands that she loves and gets to promote their products (brands like Betty Crocker and Land O' Lakes Butter). It's an amazing experience and one of her favorite parts of the job.She has also had the opportunity to author her very own cookbook, Party Popcorn. She had never considered, writing a cookbook before, but after she had signed the contract, she realized it was something she wanted to do. It took over two years of recipe testing, marketing, writing, and lots of patience, but for her, it's a big accomplishment that she is very proud of. How exciting! It's nice to see someone take something that they are passionate about, and turn it into a career of their own.

Some of the recipes you will find on her recipe site include brownie and bars recipes, breakfast recipes, diet recipes and more.
