The base of the meal is a complex carbohydrate of penne, and you can opt for more fiber by replacing regular pasta with whole wheat. It also stars chicken and bacon, but giving your protein to satiate your hunger. The flavors of this recipe are a creamy, garlicky sauce that when mixed in all the right proportions is a delicious ranch sauce. It is a heavier sauce, and so is this meal is best paired with some crunchy steamed broccoli or asparagus. These dark green veggies go very well with a creamy sauce. This meal makes delicious leftovers as well that can be easily reheated in the oven.
