For the chicken fried steak part of the recipe, you will need some cubed steak, salt, pepper, all-purpose flour, and egg substitute. You will also need some crushed saltine crackers and some vegetable cooking spray. For the cream gravy recipe, you will need some low-fat milk, some all purpose flour, low-sodium jarred chicken soup base, and some pepper.

To make the cream gravy recipe you whisk some milk into some flour until it is smooth. Cook over medium heat and whisk constantly approximately three to five minutes until the gravy starts to thicken and becomes bubbly. Then whisk in the soup base and the pepper. It's that easy, and tastes so delicious!

The chicken-fried steak recipe is also easy to make. Start by sprinkling the steaks with some salt and pepper. Dredge the steaks in some flour, and then dip in the egg substitute, and then dredge in the crushed crackers. Lightly coat each of the steaks on both sides with some of the cooking spray. Then cook the steaks in batches, in a nonstick frying pan over medium heat for approximately three to four minutes on each side, or until the steaks are a nice golden color. Then transfer the steak to a wire rack that is in a jelly roll pan. Keep the steaks warm in a 225 degree Fahrenheit oven, and serve with the cream gravy recipe. You can place the chicken-fried steak overtop some mashed potatoes and pour the gravy on top, heaven!
