Cleaning Stove Burners and Grates Using Ammonia, The Best Easiest and Cheaper Way Ever

Need a little extra help when you’re cleaning your kitchen? How about that stove? That’s probably the most difficult item in the whole room to clean, and it needs to be cleaned often! Well, we’ve discovered this awesome new trick for cleaning stove burners and grates – and that little trick is simply using ammonia! It’s the best, easiest, and cheapest way to do it – ever!

It’s just one of those things, isn’t it? Your stove. You never really want to clean it, do you? We sure don’t. But it needs to be done, otherwise, it’s not just an ugly mess but it can be a fire hazard too. We don’t want to be setting all of those smoke detectors off every time we try to cook, now do we? A clean kitchen is a happy kitchen, and clean stove is a safe one. And the hardest parts of the stove to clean are the burners and grates, right? Scrubbing them doesn’t really work unless you want to scrape all of the metal down until there’s absolutely nothing left. But when you heat and re-heat grease and gunk over and over again, you wind up with a mess that’s baked on forever. Until now, that is!

And what if we told you that you don’t even have to scrub anymore? You probably wouldn’t believe us… Right? Well, according to this article by Vivienne over at the V Spot, you don’t! Isn’t that a clever name for a blog? According to Vivienne, all you need is a trusty dusty bottle of ammonia and one other key item we’ll bet you already have kicking around in your kitchen. And if you don’t, we promise you will be able to procure it very quickly by making a visit to your local grocery store.

We haven’t tried it ourselves yet, but we do know this easy, inexpensive grate and burner-cleaning method worked wonders for Vivienne.
