Confetti Cake Batter Brownies

Find Your Perfect ONLINE JOB

Are you a cake batter lover? Well, I am. I remember when I was a kid, my Mom used to make this for us as a treat, whenever we did well at school or at home. And for every special occasion, like birthdays, Christmas and Thanksgiving, we could look forward to this. Cake batter has always been in our family recipe box. And now that I have kids, I make this special cake batter too for them as one of their special treats. And yes, my kids love it as much as I did when I was a kid. It also gives you an opportunity to bond with the kids when you involve them and let them help out. My daughter's favorite part when we bake cake batter is the putting in the confetti. She likes to pretend that she's a fairy when she powders the colorful sprinkles on it. (Geez, I used to pretend like that too when I was a kid. LOL!) I am really happy that I am sharing this with my kids as I do have a lot of fun and it also brings up good memories for me of time spent with my Mom.

Some call them blondies, but whatever! It's a perfect sweet treat whatever it is named and everyone and you give a piece to is going to love it.

This recipe is called Confetti Cake Batter Brownies, 'confetti' because it has small pieces of colorful sprinkles in it. Confetti are streamers which are usually thrown on parades or on celebrations especially on weddings and the word is just perfect for my recipe because my recipe means celebrating. I want my recipe to be known or remembered as happiness.

This Confetti Cake Batter recipe is easy to make. It has egg, milk, you can use vegetable or canola oil, then the white chocolate chips and the main ingredient which is the cake mix. Now if you don't want to hassle yourself much with putting of the sprinkles, there's a ready-made cake mix sold in stores that has sprinkles already or what is also called funfetti. And just a reminder, if you are going to use sprinkles. Make sure that you do not use any black sprinkles or your cake batter will turn black.

It's really easy to make, just combine the first four ingredients, add the remaining two and mix it well. Make sure that your cake batter is dense and as thick as possible. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for 25 -30 minutes and voila! You are done! Have fun baking! I hope you enjoy my recipe as much as I did. Happiness everyone!
