These Cookies and Cream Chocolate Candy Cups are similar to a peanut butter cup recipe but made with white chocolate and cookies and cream filling instead. Homemade candy cup recipes are fun because you can fill them with a variety of flavors that you won't find anywhere else. If you like this recipe, you might consider purchasing a peanut butter cup silicone mold. They are easy to use, but if you don't have one, you can use mini candy liners and simply put them into a mini muffin pan or full sized muffin pan, depending on how big your liners are. You can also do a mixture of mini and full-sized candy cups. The ingredients you will need for this chocolate recipe include chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate, Oreos, cream cheese, mini peanut butter cup silicone mold or you can use candy liners and place them into a mini muffin or larger sized muffin pan.

To start the recipe, you melt the chocolate on the stove, by placing the chocolate in a large heat-proof mixing bowl. Then using a pot that you can fit a bowl into, add some water to the pot and bring to a simmer. Placing the chocolate bowl on top, making sure that the bowl never touches the water. Then stir in the chocolate with a spatula until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Then turn off the stove while keeping the chocolate bowl over the water pot, so the chocolate does not cool down. Then add some of the melted chocolate to the bottom of each mold. Then bang the bottom of the muffin pan against the counter a few times so that the chocolate spreads evenly out across the bottom of each of the molds. Then using the back of a small spoon, dip the spoon into the bowl of melted chocolate and use the back of the spoon to coat the inner sides of each mold, making sure not to leave any space uncovered. Place into the refrigerator to harden for approximately twenty minutes. While you are waiting for chocolate molds to harden, you can make your filling recipe. Start by adding the Oreos and cream cheese to a food processor and mix until the cookies have become small crumbs, and a thick paste forms.
