This creamed Salmon and peas over linguini recipe is good to serve 6 to 8 people, assuming one won't come back for another round. Some of the ingredients that you will need are a couple of tablespoons of butter, extra virgin oil, linguini, salmon, pancetta, shallots, white wine, flour, heavy cream, mustard, green peas and some parsley for garnish.

To start making this tasty dinner recipe you can begin by bringing a pot of salted water to a boil and cooking the linguini according to the package directions. When the pasta is cooking, you can then heat a large non stick sauce pan with some oil and some butter over medium high heat. Once you get the butter nice and hot and frothy, you can add some of the salmon to the pan, making sure to put in the pieces without touching. You can saute the salmon for about 1 1/2 minutes on each side and turn with tongs, to cook the other side for the same amount of time. Once the salmon is done remove it from the pan and put it on a platter. Then add the rest of your oil and butter and once again cook your other batch of salmon, again removing then and adding them to the platter when done.

You don't have to cook the salmon all the way through, as it will further cook once it is in the sauce. You can lower the heat of the large frying pan and add in your pancetta and cook until it is close to crisp. Then you can add the shallots and cook for a bit longer, until they start to get a bit soft. To the pan add some wine and deglaze the pan. When the wine has almost evaporated, you can add in your flour and stir, keep on stirring with a wooden spoon to moisten the flour.
