Creamy Herb Chicken

When it comes to cooking during the week, this creamy herb chicken recipe is the perfect dinner recipe to make. To start the creamy herb chicken recipe brush the chicken breasts with some olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Then heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat and cook the chicken breasts until they are no longer pink. Then transfer to a plate and set aside. Then in the same frying pan, heat the remaining olive oil and saut the minced shallot and garlic, with the basil, oregano, and tarragon, for one to two minutes, or until fragrant. Then stir in the herb cheese, chicken broth, lemon juice and zest, and whisk together until smooth, then sprinkle in some flour and whisk until incorporated. Cook for approximately 5 to 10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened. Return the chicken to frying pan and cook for another couple of minutes, or until warmed through. Then garnish with some fresh herbs and serve hot.
