Creamy Shrimp and Mushroom Pasta

Find Your Perfect ONLINE JOB

If you're anything like me, you're always looking for new recipes that your family will love. Ideally, these recipes also fit within the dinner budget and, of course, make you look like a super hero in the kitchen. Of course, even though you prefer to look like a super hero in the kitchen, dinner recipes need to fit into the time budget otherwise it's all over. Between working full-time, dropping kids off, picking kids up, hosing kids down because they came home looking like they rolled in a mud puddle or four there really is little time left for cooking. Is it to much to ask for simple, quick, gourmet looking recipes that everyone will love? We don't think so!

So here we have a delicious Creamy Shrimp and Mushroom Pasta. A scrumptious dinner idea worthy of guests whom you'd like to entertain again. For those guests who you don't want to see so often, we suggest PB & J Sandwiches! Those little babies scream I'm too busy for company, and I don't cook so please don't come again or at least don't come again soon!

Another great thing about this recipe is that your kitchen is probably already stocked with the ingredients you need. So after a busy day, you can come home and whip this dish together in not too much longer than it takes to cook the pasta.

Also, an added tip for cooking pasta; do not drain and rinse your pasta. Instead simply lift the pasta out of the water with a slotted spoon and place it in your prepared, warm sauce. A little-known fact amongst home cooks is that when you drain and rinse pasta you're actually removing the starch that will inevitably create a sticky pasta. Instead, cherish the starch and you will end up with a smooth and silky pasta experience. Once again, making you look like a superhero in the kitchen!
