In a large bowl or mixer, combine milk, egg, oil, remaining sugar and salt and mix together. Once yeast mixture has bubbled up, add that to the mixing bowl. Gradually add the flour to the dough mixture, beating on low speed. Dough should begin to come together. Drizzle melted butter in and beat at medium high speed for two to three minutes. Continue to knead until the dough comes together into a sticky, elastic ball.
