There are a lot of ideas that can be created with a simple ice cube tray other than the usual water ice cubes, flavoured ice, or to freeze it. Have you ever tried making a chocolate ice cubes? Let me share to you the ingredients!

This could actually make a 12 to 14 ice cubes.

- 6 3/4 cups of milk for about 200ml

- 1 2/3 cups of water, approximately 50ml

- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 tablespoon instant coffee; this is actually optional

- 1 teaspoon sugar

- 2.4 ounces or about 70 grams dark chocolate of 66% in content

Tools to use:

- A stove

- Small, medium, or large pot/ saucepan

- Ice cube tray

- Stirring tool or rubber spatula will do

Using a sharp knife, cut the chocolate into a fine pieces and use a heat-proof bowl to store them. Add the other ingredients such as water, milk, cocoa powder, instant coffee, and sugar into a medium or large saucepan. Let everything to come to boil into a medium heat and pour the whole mixture over the chocolate. Allow the chocolate to melt for about 3 to 5 minutes before combining the rest together. Pour the mixture evenly into your ice cube tray for best results. Let it freeze until it is hardened. Serve the ice cubes and drop it into your cold drinks like vanilla or into a regular drink.

You may mould any designs if you are interested, and you can actually purchase some ice trays with different styles or moulding designs at your local grocery store.
