Making an apple pie recipe has never been so easy. You jus simply toss the apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar, and spoon over a refrigerated pie crust in the cast iron skillet. Peel the apples, and cut into 1/2 inch thick wedges. Toss the apples with cinnamon and some granulated sugar. Melt butter in a 10-inch cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Remove from heat, and place one piecrust in skillet over brown sugar mixture.
