Frozen Pink Lemonade Pie

Find Your Perfect ONLINE JOB

This frozen pink lemonade pie is perfect any time of the year but we commonly connect summertime with lemonade, and we all know how refreshing that is. This 'cool' frozen dessert will be a perfect dessert any time of the year.

This Frozen Pink Lemonade Pie is very easy to prepare. It is a 4 ingredient dessert that once assembled needs to be frozen for at least 6 hours before slicing.

One of the ingredients in this dessert is cool whip. I am not a fan of cool whip at all, but that will not deter me from making this dessert. For any others out there that prefer a more natural ingredient, you can always substitute stabilized whipped cream.

If you want it to have a vibrant pink color, then you can always add a few drops of red food coloring. Again for those that prefer not use food coloring, the pie will take on a soft pink from the pink lemonade concentrate and the coloring is not necessary.

For those that want to substitute real whipping cream this is what you need to do. The recipe calls for 8 ounces (2 cups of cool whip)

Here is a recipe for stabilized whipped cream for those that want to use it as a substitute.

1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin, 4 teaspoons cold water,1 cup heavy whipping cream, 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar

Using a small saucepan, combine the gelatin in the cold water. Place over low heat, stirring until gelatin dissolves. Remove from heat and allow to cool but not set. Whip the cream and confectioners' sugar until soft peaks form, add the gelatin, whip until stiff peaks form. (Makes about 2 cups)

Rest assured that your taste buds will love this refreshing creamy treat. Now it is time for you to enjoy! Visit the Life in the LOFTHOUSE website below to see the full details of this recipe.
