Garlic Chicken with Tomato Cream Pasta

Find Your Perfect ONLINE JOB

OMG we should definitely make sure we're well fed when we're working, otherwise a photo like this could just drive us right around the bend 'til lunch time mercifully arrives. If you adore pesto, garlic, cheese, pasta, and chicken like we do, once you see this scrumptious-looking dish, you will not be satisfied 'til you've tried making it yourself. That's the way we feel, at any rate!

There's something particularly appealing about pesto. Especially if you grow your own basil! We have a little sunroom in our apartment that we've devoted to a wee herb garden where basil is one of the ever-present and ever-growing herbs, always available when needed. Not only does basil taste great, but it smells wonderful too.

And as far as pesto goes, it's pretty darned yummy we can't get enough of it, in fact. It, on its own is very simple to make, especially if you're a little adventurous. This recipe only calls for pre-made pesto that you can pick up at your local grocery store, however, so you don't have to go all out and make it from scratch if you don't have time! No worries. Add a little garlic to that pesto, and wow oh wow, you've got some seriously mouth-watering flavours going on.

Here are the basic ingredients you'll need to gather together to make this lovely meal:

Lawrys Herb and Garlic Marinade, pesto, boneless chicken breasts, penne pasta, olive oil, minced garlic, chicken broth, tomato sauce, half and half (milk and cream), and flour. Please note, if you are concerned about calories, you could also use skimmed milk instead of the half and half, but the dish may not be quite as creamy.
