Find Your Perfect ONLINE JOB

Do your drip pans have a bunch of black, burned on food stuck to them? This happens a lot, especially when you leave food to boil over and then forget to clean it up afterwards. It happens to us all at one point or another and the more time that passes, the more the stains tend to stick onto the burner drip pans. When it comes to cleaning stoves, there are many cleaning tips you can use to get rid of the burned on food. Many of them include using harsh chemicals like ammonia which can work really well, but they are really harsh to breathe in and can be poisonous. Luckily, there are cleaning tips for cleaning stoves and drip pans that use only natural cleaners like vinegar and baking soda. White distilled vinegar is a cleaning ingredient that most people will already have in their home. Either they're already using it for cleaning purposes, or they have it around for recipes. White vinegar is great for loosening up tough, stuck on grime and grease because of the powerful acids in it. It's also awesome for deodorizing and disinfecting. Baking soda is the other popular cleaning ingredient people usually have at home, and it's also very popular in baking recipes. Baking soda is also a great disinfectant and deodorizer too, plus, it's a great gentle abrasive powder.

For this cleaning trick you're going to be using baking soda and white vinegar to remove the burned on food and grease from your stove top drip pans. All you need to do is put some hot water and vinegar in your sink and then place your burners in the sink to let them soak for at least 10 minutes or longer if you have the time. You will actually be able to see the little black flakes floating off of the drip pans showing you that the vinegar is doing its job to loosen up the burned on food. Then, you can scrub your drip pans with a dish cleaning brush or a scrubbing pad, just make sure it won't scratch your drip pans by testing a small area first before you scrub the entire thing. Once you've scrubbed a bit, you can then put some baking soda in the bottom where most of the burned on food will be. Then, put a little bit of vinegar in there to make a paste. You can let the paste sit for 10 minutes or more if you want, and then start to scrub with a scrubbing pad or a cloth.

You'll be surprised how well the baking soda and vinegar work together. They will create a chemical reaction when they're put together and this will cause them to bubble and fizz which will loosen any of the really stuck on grime. With some time and elbow grease, you'll be able to get those drip pans looking as good as new. If all else fails and your drip pans are super old, you can always buy new ones from any home improvement store to save yourself the time and hassle. But it's always great to save money and to reuse items whenever we can. You can also use vinegar and baking soda on the inside of your oven to clean up any burned on food that's been lingering on the inside. Just make a paste out of some baking soda and vinegar and spread it all over the inside of the oven, then spray with some vinegar and allow to soak overnight. Then just scrub the next day and it will clean up like a dream.***
