Knowing and being confident in the handholds and footholds that you choose whenever you go climbing is a skill that you must master. Although it may take some time to finally gain confidence at rock climbing, it takes practice, patience and confidence.

This is kind of like what would your gut tell you and you just have to learn how to trust it.
2. When it comes to your footholds, it’s best that you make small footsteps instead of big ones. This will make you move easily in transitioning to making those giant steps. A lot of beginners feel insecure making small steps because they don’t trust their feet. Take control by gaining confidence.
