IKEA Donates Doll Beds For Shelter Cats, And It's Just Too Adorable

Ikea makes life a little easier for these cats at an Ontario animal shelter. Until recently, cats at the Etobicoke Humane Society in Ontario, Canada would sleep in the cold, and hard floor but no more as furniture giant, IKEA has just donated ten doll beds for the cats at the shelter, along with making a $300 contribution towards the brighter future of the shelter pets. The floors at the Etobicoke shelter were not all that comfortable for the cats to sleep on. So now cats like Catsby and Frankie have comfy beds of their own to curl up on. The Etobicoke Humane Society is an independent, all-volunteer run, federally registered charity that has been serving the Greater Toronto Area since 1987. Etobicoke Humane Society does not euthanize any of their animals due to lack of space, and only take in animals for which they have shelter or foster homes. Euthanasia is considered only in the rare instances when a vet determines that to be the only humane alternative. The shelter also does not allow any animal in their care to be used for research.
