When it comes to condiments that are used at the dinner table, many of us have things we can't live without, for some ketchup is the absolute go-to, for others it's a favourite dipping sauce, hot sauce like Sriracha or a favourite salad dressing. This "Homemade Ranch Dressing," recipe would do well in our house, as it's something my husband can't live without. Come to think of it, this recipe would do really well anywhere, and in any household! Ranch is most likely the most popular salad dressing and dip in America. So many people love it on not only their salads, but as a dipping sauce for chicken strips, spicy chicken wings, vegetables, as an ingredient for different sauces and recipes. You can buy it at the store, of course. There are many different brands you can purchase, and everyone has their own preference. There are also powdered mixes that you can buy and then mix with other ingredients to make it a dressing. All of those are great, but if you are a purist, you will really like to make this recipe.

This homemade ranch dressing recipe is a great backup for the store bought ranch dressing, you might even like this recipe version better, and replace the one you've been using. Ranch dressing can be added to a variety of salad recipes, is great for using as a vegetable dip, and some even like to dip their pizza slices in it. This homemade ranch dressing is simple to make, and you may even have the items to make it already. Some of the ingredients you will need include mayonnaise, buttermilk (sour cream or yoghurt can be substituted), white vinegar and minced garlic. When you have all your ingredients for the recipe on hand, place them all in a blender and blend, thats it, you've got a great ranch dressing.
