4 Steps to Perfectly Shaped Eyebrows

"Brows are sisters, not twins"...Do you agree with that? I do. This is actually the most common phrase that I always hear from Michelle Phan's makeup tutorials in Youtube. If you don't know her, then girl, go search her name right away and you'll know what I mean.

I am actually one of those girls who cannot leave the house without my brows groomed, tweezed, filled in, or sometimes, even drawn on. I always make sure that even if I don't have any makeup on, these brows are right on the alley. Why is that? Simple. Brows frame the eyes. And our eyes are the one of the first things that are always noticed when we encounter other people. So, I make sure that my brows are always perfect. How do I do that? Here are some tips.Perfect brows should not be too short, nor too long. Just the right length should start a few centimeters from the corner of your inner eye and end a few more centimeters from the corner of your outer eye. Make sense right?

Brow hairs should also be trimmed just like our beautiful head of hair. They should align with each other to create the perfect shape. There is no perfect brow shape for me actually. I believe that each individual has a unique brow shape that they only need to enhance to frame their eyes. Sometimes I even experiment with brow shapes and it really does a great difference with my overall look!

Also, I never forget to fill in my brows because we can't all be Cara DeLevigne, right? Not everyone is gifted with full brows so sometimes we need to do a little tweaks to make them look fuller. I usually use a brow pencil and powder to fill in the gaps in my brows. Then, I seal it with an eye brow gel, which could be tinted or clear, depending on the look that I want.
