Indian Naan Bread

Find Your Perfect ONLINE JOB

Do you love Indian cuisine? I know I really do! I always have, all the different amazing spices that are not just tasty on the food, but they are really good for you as well! I don't know about you, but I love naan bread with my Indian meals. The only thing is, I have never actually made it because there is yeast in it and that just takes too long! I usually end up making roti because it is way quicker and easier than having to wait for yeast to do its thing. The person who posted the recipe on The Wanderlust Kitchen thinks that naan bread can be time consuming, but she found this great recipe and promises you won't feel like you are waiting forever for your delicious naan. But some good things take some time, right?

You basically mix everything and let it sit for 2 hours and then separate the dough into 12 more pieces and let it sit again and cook it in the oven, so its really not too bad. Just do it on a day that you know you will be home all day and have some things to do around the house. Naan is so great because you can have it just by itself, or with Indian food like Dahl or curry, or I have made them into small flatbread pizzas before and they turned out really well.

When I was in India the naan there was amazing! We could order it with garlic and cheese on it and eat it on the beach, it was so yummy! I always find the ones at the store that you buy pre made, to taste stale after being frozen... So I will love to try this recipe some time soon!
