For years, China has been an ancient land that attracts many foreign visitors not only from Asia but across the world. Being the third largest country on the planet, the vast land offers a wide variety of resources, plants, livestock and minerals.

Mountain/cliff climbing in Yangshuo dates back to 1986 and up to now, it is the destination for backpackers all around the world.

1.Swiss Cheese:

Most beginners start at Swiss cheese. This place got it name because it is similar to the holes like a Swiss cheese. Climbers can climb the easiest grade which is 5.6 and the most difficult is up to 5.10.

2.Wine Bottle:

Wine Bottle cliff is of the best destination to climb in Yangshuo, having a lot of accessible routes. Climbing difficulty ranges from 5.6 to 5.11.

3.White Mountain:

It is a lot steeper than the other cliffs and offers many challenging routes for climbers. White Mountain is 200 meters long and 60 meters high.

4.Moon Hill:

Above average and more experienced climbers like climbing Moon Hill. There are different elevations and routes that master climbers could explore. Moon Hill is a great place to have a view of the Yangshuo's countryside.

Most climbers suggest that the best time to climb is in the fall season. The weather is warm, but not too hot, and there is a lower probability of rainfall. For some people who don't mind the cold weather, they can climb on winter season. Though it has low rainfall, the weather could drop quickly at dusk time. Spring season could be the least time for climbing because of wet and rising temperatures. Climbers could also explore some crags during the summer season. Sun protection is a must during this month because of the scorching heat of the sun.
