Here's a great oven-roasted BBQ Ribs recipe for those of us who don't have a barbecue Rack Of Ribs With LOCF Barbecue Sauce. What makes it even more special is we can cook it up any time of year, not just in the warm summer months winter works too!

This recipe works with any kind of ribs beef, pork, venison, or lamb whatever your preference may be. There are so many different ways you can cook ribs you can roast, smoke, bake, or even fry them. But a really good idea is to marinate them first in a special home-made BBQ sauce to add lots more flavour. The longer you can marinate, the better overnight is best if you have time. And then we highly recommend roasting the meat slowly as this will continue to tenderize it to the degree that it will literally melt in your mouth when you do eat it! These are the truly the kind of ribs you want because if you don't cook them properly, they can easily turn out very tough and difficult to chew.

This quick and easy recipe will give you a mouth-watering sauce to marinate your ribs in. Some of the key ingredients are ketchup and mustard (surprise - these popular condiments, when blended together, can add that special 'zing' to your sauce's flavour), as well as maple syrup and a small amount of rum which add a sweet richness to savour.

Once your ribs have been marinated, it's roasting time! If you're opting for the slow-roast, please reserve 4 hours for foil-wrapped roasting, plus an extra 40 minutes for the unwrapped finale this will make them crispy on the outside and super-juicy on the inside perfect!

The method for making this dinner recipe is to first season the rack of ribs generously with some salt and pepper, then with some olive oil drizzle it over to the ribs, then sprinkle with herbs while massaging them gently into the entire rack. Once you do this, you can put the ribs in the refrigerator and leave overnight. By making the barbecue sauce in advance you will increase the intensity of all the flavors.

To make the barbecue sauce you want to put all of your ingredients into a medium sauce pan and bring them to a simmer, cooking for approximately five minutes before removing them from the heat, and then letting them cool. You can place the barbecue sauce into an airtight container and placing it in the fridge until you want to use it. When it is time to make your rib recipe you will want to preheat the oven. Then place the dinner recipe onto a baking tray and cover it with aluminum foil. Now place in the preheated oven for four hours. When the rib recipe has been in the oven for that time, remove from the oven, take off the aluminum foil and drain away the juices. Taking a pastry brush you can brush the barbecue sauce onto the ribs until they are completely covered. Then put back in the oven uncovered for approximately forty minutes. When the rib recipe is cooked you can remove from the oven and serve the ribs with the sauce that is remaining. Some side dish recipes to go with this rack of ribs are wings, corn on the cob or your favorite chips recipe.
