This main dish recipe can be served with an alfredo sauce if you'd like, or just on it's own, whatever you prefer!A little tip for stuffing chicken and getting it to cook pretty evenly is to butterfly it. There is also a step by step recipe video tutorial to help you better understand the recipe. The cut should resemble a butterfly's wings when they are done. You then place the stuffing on one wing and fold the other one over it. It's that easy. The ingredients you will need for the recipe include medium boneless skinless chicken breasts, olive oil, and cream. For the stuffing, the ingredients needed include white bread cut into cubes, minced garlic, minced parsley, shredded mozzarella cheese, shredded asiago cheese, and grated Parmesan or Romano cheese. You will also need chopped cooked shrimp, heavy cream, salt and pepper. For the seasoned bread crumbs, you will need some plain breadcrumbs, Panko bread crumbs, salt and garlic powder.

To start preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then lightly spray a baking dish or you can also use an oven-safe frying pan. Then butterfly the chicken breasts (you can watch the step by step recipe tutorial to see exactly how this step is done if you'dl like). Then mix the seasoned breadcrumb ingredients and place them on a plate and set aside. Then mix the stuffing ingredients, using only enough heavy cream to hold the ingredients together, they should not be wet. Then heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.

Then place some of the cream on a plate. Then coat the outer side only of the butterflied chicken breast with some of the cream, and dredge the coated side in the prepared crumbs. Then place some of the fillings on half of the uncoated side of the chicken. Then fold the other half of chicken over the stuffing. Repeat with the remaining chicken. Then brown the chicken in oil in the hot frying pan. If you are using an oven-safe frying pan, you can pop this in the oven. If using the baking dish, then transfer the browned chicken to the dish and place in the oven. Then bake for approximately 25 to 35 minutes, or until chicken tests done by either an insta-read thermometer or juices run clear. The creator of the Midnight Baker recipe site is Judy.
