Roasted Garlic Chicken Puffs

This recipe is especially popular in a little country you may have heard of, Spain! Where the olive trees grow and the gorgeous sea meets rugged shore. These delicious treats are all over the bakeries and in the bars of Spain.

If you're living in Spain or visiting there, you are in for a treat! However if you're stuck living somewhere else, you're not out of luck, because you can actually make these delicious little pastries for yourself with the recipe below. These are actually one of the favourite recipes of among many, so if you haven't tried them yet; you are in for a treat. Below are the ingredients:


- 1 lb chicken breasts

- 2 oz pkgs cream cheese

- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss

- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar

- 2 tbsp fresh chopped garlic

- 2 tsp chives

- 1/2 cup green onions

Cooking Procedure:

Cook chicken and shred it into fine chunks. Add minced garlic to cooking chicken and cook until garlic turns browned/reduced. Place the remaining ingredients in a medium or large sized mixing bowl, add warm chicken mix and incorporate. Spoon apps 2 to 3 tablespoon of filling into canned crescent roll and cook as per directions. It is better to overstuff the rolls and have it ooze from the sides. It would be better if you’ll buy at least 4 cans of the large flaky rolls as the mixture goes a long way.

So if you’re planning to throw up a party or been asked to bring something; roasted garlic chicken puffs would be a good idea to bring and prepare. This recipe can be prepared and cooked for about 10 minutes using a convection oven and could serve for about 20-30 pax. Serve and share it with your friends. Enjoy!
