Snickerdoodle Bread

This quick and easy to make snickerdoodle bread recipe is loaded with cinnamon flavour and makes a more dense bread. This is a quick to make delicious bread that goes well with a fresh cup of coffee or tea. This snickerdoodle bread recipe is baked in small loaf pans.

The measurements on mini loaf pans are 5-1/2" x 3" x 2-1/2" mini loaf pan and a regular loaf pan is 9" x 5" x 3". Always keep in mind that if you are going to substitute baking pans you will need to adjust the baking times accordingly. Sometimes, you even need to adjust baking temperatures. Written below are the ingredients of the snickerdoodle bread recipe.


- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 2 teaspoons cinnamon

- 1 cup butter, at room temperature

- 2 cups granulated sugar

- 3 eggs

- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

- 3/4 cup sour cream

- 1 pack Hershey's cinnamon chips

- 3 Tablespoons granulated sugar

- 3 teaspoons cinnamon


Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray 2 (9 x 5 x 3 inch) loaf breads with cooking spray. In a small or medium sized bowl, whisk 3 teaspoons of cinnamon oil as well as the 3 tablespoons of sugar all together and set it aside. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt and the remaining cinnamon oil; set aside.

Now in your large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until it is fluffy in texture for about two minutes. Add the egg at least one at a time mixing it well after adding the other. Add the vanilla extract and sour cream; mix and combine it. Always remember not to over-mix flour when added by other ingredients. Coat the cinnamon chips, flour while stirred in batter. Spoon the batter into pans and combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle it all over the top of the batter in the pans. Bake and wait for about 35-40 minutes and let it cool for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan. Once cooled, it is now ready to serve. Enjoy!
