You will want to take a peek at this Stuffed Cookie Cups recipe, it is sure to get your mouth watering. Imagine a chocolate chip cookie (with lots of chocolate chips) stuffed with an Oreo cookie, it doesn't get much better than that. The thing is you don't have to stop at just using Oreo cookies for the stuffing; you can use your imagination and fill the cookie cup with everything from Reese's cups to chocolate cookies, whatever you like.

To start this delicious stuffed cookie cups recipe, you will preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Then get a 12 cup muffin pan ready by spraying with some nonstick cooking spray or greasing it with butter. Then in a medium sized bowl, you can whisk together the flour, salt and baking soda for the recipe. Next using an electric mixer and a large bowl, mix both the granulated and the brown sugars together. Add the butter to the mix and beat, then add the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla, and beat until they combined. At this point, you can add the flour mixture and blend it at low speed just until combined. You want to be sure and not over mix. Then you can fold in the chocolate chips.

You can roll each chocolate chip cookie into a ball about 3/4 inch round, and then press into the muffin cups. Then you will place and press the cookie or treat that you choose onto the center of the chocolate chip cookie. Next you will roll another ball of cookie dough about the same size as the last and cover up the treat and press it over the top. The chocolate chip cookie cups will go into a preheated oven for approximately 35 to 40 minutes, you should keep an eye on them, so they don't overcook. When the cookies are done, they should lose the wet appearance and appear to be dry. This is when they are ready to pull out of the oven. Once the cookie cups are done, you can let them cool for approximately fifteen minutes or longer, at which point you can carefully remove them from the muffin tin.

The recipe that used for the chocolate chip cookies is a never fail, super easy to do cookie recipe, and it just so happens to be adapted from the Mrs. Fields recipe. This chocolate chip cookie dough is not too sugary, so it's a nice addition to the stuffed cookie cups recipe without being overbearing.
