At the time, he purchased it just for recreational purposes. Years later, when the area dam needed repair, and was rebuilt, Peter decided he would rename the lake on his property after his three children. So he renamed the lake after, Esther, Emery, and Walter, and Lake Estermerwalt if became. So in the 1980s when he began manufacturing log homes there he changed the name of Propst Lumber to Estemerwalt Log Homes.

When selecting the log home package you want, there are a lot of different log profiles and sizes to choose from.
