This Gulf Crab Cakes with Lemon Butter Recipe is a great addition to dinner, or you can bring them along for a potluck with family and friends. Gently stir in the crabmeat and green onions, and shape into crab cakes. Cover and chill for approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Then melt some butter with some oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Then add the crab cakes to a frying pan and cook 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until they are nicely browned. Remove from the frying pan, and keep warm in a 200 degree Fahrenheit oven. Repeat the procedure with the remaining oil, butter, and crab cakes, wiping the frying pan clean after each batch. Serve with some lemon butter.
