Here is a recipe for "White Castle Sliders" that people on the East Coast might appreciate (as there are no White Castle's on the West Coast). This White Castle Sliders recipe is a great addition to holiday get-togethers, football games, and family gatherings and sure to be a hit.

If you have never had a White Castle burger, you don't know what you are missing! The nice thing about this burger recipe is that you can keep them in the refrigerator after making them, and they are just as good the next day. All you have to do is microwave them for about 40 to 50 seconds, and they are just as tasty as when you first made them.

You don't need a lot of fancy ingredients to make these tasty sliders, just stuff you might already have in your fridge and pantry. You'll need some hamburger meat, a package of onion soup mix, milk, peanut butter and some finely chopped onion. You will also want to have some good rolls to put the burgers on, along with some cheese slices to put on top of the burger.

You will want to get a large mixing bowl and place your hamburger, onion soup mix, peanut butter and milk into, and mix together. Then take the hamburger mixture and place it onto a cookie sheet, using a rolling pin to roll out the meat and smooth it out. Then with your oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit bake the hamburger mixture for approximately ten minutes. This will cause the meat mixture to shrink, you can then take it out of the oven and put the diced onions around the edges of the meat mixture, this helps add some nice flavor to the meat. Then bake for another fifteen minutes, and remove from the oven, and take the onions and put them on top of the meat, and cover with cheese slices. At this point, you can bake the hamburger meat for approximately another 7 to 10 minutes, just until the cheese melts. Put the tops of your buns in the oven for a few minutes. You can use a pizza cutter to cut the hamburger meat into the desired patty sizes.
