Why Opening Cans (Without A Can Opener) Is Easier Than Buttering Bread

Find Your Perfect ONLINE JOB

Have you ever gone on a camping trip or arrived in a luxury condo rental and realized "oh my! No can opener!". This is especially important if that was your dinner plan for the night and everyone is relying on you and hopefully you were not the one to forget it. Actually there are numerous techniques that you might try if you don't have a can opener with you. Some of the techniques that we have found can be viewed with images and through this link.

Always remember that this following techniques must be performed by an adult with a great care and children should not try this one at home

Method 1: Concrete and a rock (or knife). This is probably the most old school way and most likely to be your only option if you are out camping in the woods with only rocks around.

Method 2: Using a bread knife. It means that it is serrated and really requires care that you do not hurt yourself or spill everything onto the floor. Be mindful that this method could be hazardous and that you might get injured; take some extra care.

Method 3: Hammer and chisel. Again, you will want to be extra careful with this that you do not hurt yourself or spill all the contents onto the floor. There is a possibility that you might accidentally hit a bad angle that could hurt yourself. So do it gently with great care.

Method 4: Pocket knife. Some pocket knives are made with a can opener attachment. These are not always as easy to use as a regular can opener, but in a pinch will get the trick done.

If you want to see the images of how these are done, we recommend following the link below to see the master in action. Watch it once at least so you don't forget it when you don't have access to the web.
