Find Your Perfect ONLINE JOB

It's natural to let cleaning duties get away from you sometimes, life gets busy for us all, and we've all been there at one point or another. Good thing there are great stove cleaning tips like this one from Emily P's channel on YouTube. Emily teaches us how to use baking soda and another natural ingredient to make a magical cleaning solution that has a great effect on tough stained stovetops. If you cook a lot on your stove top, you're going to want to try this tutorial out. Our stoves can get so dirty with all of the grease and grime that splatters everywhere, as well as the burned on food. Sometimes the grease can be especially hard to get out of the surfaces, and it almost sticks like glue adhering to the stove which looks really gross. Many of the stove cleaning tips you'll find online usually suggest you use some type of chemical cleaners like a degreaser or even ammonia. Luckily this cleaning tutorial doesn't use any nasty chemicals, but only two natural cleaners that you probably have around your home anyway. If you don't have the two ingredients, you can pick them up at your dollar store for only a dollar each. So not only is this cleaning tip natural, but it's also affordable. If you can't find the two items at a dollar store, check your grocery store and your pharmacy. The first ingredient you'll want is baking soda. You may already have some around if you do a lot of baking, or if you already use it as a natural cleaner. Baking soda is also great to use as a deodorizer. You can sprinkle some on your carpet or bed and then leave it for a while, then vacuum it up and the odors should go away.

The other ingredient for this tutorial is the hydrogen peroxide which you may normally use for cleaning out cuts and wounds or for other cleaning purposes. Simply take both the baking soda and the hydrogen peroxide and mix them up in a bowl to make a nice paste. If the paste is too runny, just add some more baking soda, or if it's too thick and lumpy, add in more hydrogen peroxide. The result should be kind of like a thick glue-like consistency. Then all you do is take your burners off, or your grates and slather the whole surface of the stove top in the mixture with a scrubby sponge. One of those yellow and green sponges will work just fine and won't scratch the surface of the stove either. You also want to be sure to cover the back part of the stove where all the dials usually are. You could even wash off the dials with this mixture too. Then scrub at all of the stains that are covering your stove. They should come right out really easily. You can see her before and after shots of her cleaning job and it's quite impressive what a great job these two natural cleaners do for cleaning the stove.

You could try this on any enamel stovetop, or a ceramic cooktop even, it should work just fine on either of them. If you're going to try it on stainless steel just make sure you do a test spot in an inconspicuous place before you go to town scrubbing the whole thing.
