Triple Berrie Trifle is a dessert that is perfect for those Summer-time gatherings and is ever so easy to prepare! You can grab the ingredients just about anywhere - yes, even if you are semi-remote and in the middle of nowhere in a tiny cottage town!! Its perfect for those planner types of me – you know who you are, you love to have everything prepared in advance to skip the mess and hassle during those days-of gatherings…and guess what? It’s only the end of May and I’ve made three batches!! It's a great recipe and I guarantee not only will you love it but so will your guests!! Enjoy!
Who doesn’t love berries with light and airy slightly-sweetened whipped cream? Its definitely a match made in heaven and on a perfect Summer’s evening outside with your friends after a scrumptious BBQ dinner? Oh my goodness – absolutely fantastic. Summer time is the season to get outdoors, gather with friends, family and loved ones and eat, drink, and be merry! Its also the time of year when we have so many wonderful offerings like bright and colourful fresh vegetables and fruits, aromatic herbs and delicate flowers…everything just seems to taste better in the Summer! At least I think so.
Entertaining as you may have already realized, is a very big part of my family-agenda during these few warm and sunny months of the year. Hey, you gotta take advantage of each perfect day of sunshine and warm breezes when you live in a place that is 8 months of the year cool and grey!! Anyway, for me, I love to cook and entertain. Seeing those smiles on the faces of those I care about and just have fun, laugh, and enjoy the moments together – well that’s what I call living the dolce vita! I encourage you all to take out your calendar and already plan a few BBQs and potlucks. Why not even get creative and plan a theme or costume Summer party? Anything that brings people together to enjoy the simpler (but really greater things of life) - each other - is a sure win!!
