There is just something about owls that we can't help but love, and for anyone who loves owls this owl cupcakes recipe is definitely one you will want to do. This owl cupcakes recipe is nice and easy to do, great if you don't have a lot of time to spare. Some of the ingredients you will need for this owl cupcakes recipe include a box of chocolate cake mix, eggs, oil, chocolate frosting and Oreos (split, keep the side that has the frosting), and some Reese's Pieces only the brown and yellow pieces. To start bake the cupcakes according to the cake box instructions, then frost each cupcake, a tip is to dab the frosting with a knife to give it more texture. Then place two Oreo sides on each cupcake and make sure the Oreos are not touching (these will look like the eyes), then frost one side of two brown Reese's pieces and place on each Oreo. Next, place one yellow piece in the middle of the cupcake to be the owl's beak, and that's it your done!

There is something about cupcakes that we just can't resist! So many flavors, and so many creamy topping and additions, it's a recipe that you can always have fun with. Typically cupcakes use the same basic ingredients as standard cakes butter, sugar, eggs, and flour. Most any recipe that works for a layer cake can be used to bake cupcakes. The cake batter used for cupcakes may be flavored or have other ingredients stirred in, such as berries, nuts, or chocolate chips. A cupcakes small size is more efficient for heat conduction, making them bake much faster than a normal layered cake. Cupcakes may be topped with frosting or other cake decorations. They may be filled with frosting, fruit, or pastry cream. Some bakers will insert a pastry bag in the middle of the cupcake to add fillings. In commercial bakeries, the filling may be injected using a syringe. Elaborately decorated cupcakes may be made for special occasions. It is always fun to play around with cupcakes and come up with cute ideas and themes for birthdays, holidays, bake sales and parties.
