But it seems that corn is better used in cooking recipes. Often people will just eat the corn right off of the cob, which is so tasty and so easy to prepare. This creamed corn recipe calls for corn kernels, heavy cream, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, butter, sugar, and salt and pepper to taste. As you can see from the recipe, don't make this if you are on a low cholesterol diet! It is quite creamy and heavy as you can see. All you have to do is combine the cream and cheeses in the slow cooker, then add the rest of the ingredients from the recipe, stir it up a little bit and cook on low for four to five hours.
