You can't help but wonder what happens when "She Puts Aluminum Foil Balls in the Crock Pot. When We See Why? GENIUS!" You want to read further and see exactly what this kitchen hack does, especially for anyone who loves to use their crock pot.

Not only do crock pots help you prepare the most delicious meals with little effort, but they are constantly surprising you on just how good the food they make really is. If you don't have a crock pot, you might reconsider after seeing this easy kitchen trick. There's no food quite so simple to work with as a rotisserie chicken. Those grocery store rotisserie chickens can be great for just cutting up and eating, or shredding for use in other great chicken dish recipes. But they can be a bit on the pricey side. It's definitely much cheaper to pick up a whole chicken from the store that hasn't been cooked. But you might wonder how to cook it if you don't have a rotisserie, or you don't have the time to bake it in the oven. As it turns out all you need to do is grab your crock pot and some aluminum foil. Then just tear about 6 to 8 pieces of aluminum foil and scrunch them into balls. Then place them at the bottom of your trusty crock pot. These foil balls are what will stop your chicken from being too near the heated surface, so your chicken won't dry out while it's cooking! Then like magic you have rotisserie chicken just like you would buy at the grocery store, but easily made at home, yippee!

To start you want to rinse your whole chicken inside and out, then place it in a large bowl, with the breast side down. Then give it a good sprinkle with your favorite chicken seasonings, salt and pepper are essential, but you can also use some garlic powder, onion powder, or other seasonings you like. Then flip the chicken over and season liberally on the other side as well.
