Find Your Perfect ONLINE JOB

We all love our pets dearly and usually that includes spoiling them all sorts of toys to play with. Now you can make your own cat toys. This cat jungle gym will have your feline on cloud nine. Of all the fun and easy diys you've done, have you ever tried making something for your cat or dog? Like most people, you probably just see cute things at the pet store and purchase them when you buy your furry friend some food. It can be so fun to make some do it yourself crafts for your pets though, so why not give this one a shot? Over at Buzzfeed's Nifty section, they share a bunch of super fun and easy diys with us that usually have a video accompanying them. The video makes it so much easier to see exactly how to make something so you know exactly what it will look like and how to go about doing it properly. If they don't feature a video, they'll usually post photos with the step by step directions to give you a visual of the steps. This one comes with both to make it really easy for us to make this cat jungle gym.

Cats need something like this to give them something to play with when you're not around. If you don't let your animals run off enough steam throughout the day, they could very well be keeping you up all night running around the house. Cats are nocturnal by nature, meaning they like to be up at night to hunt. But since they're no longer living out in the wild, you have to give them something to keep them interested throughout the day to get their sleep cycles regulated and synched up with yours. Many cat toy diy ideas include using feathers of some kind because it can look closer to a living thing to the cat when they're in play mode. If you want to keep your feathers animal friendly, see if you can find naturally sourced, cruelty free feathers from free range farms raising happy birds. You can find items like this that are all cleaned up and ready to be used for do it yourself crafts on Etsy or Amazon, or maybe in a local craft store. Just make sure the feathers are clean before you use them.

All you need to do is find a wooden ladder and fix some rope, fleecy material and a small cat bed to the top, with a little hand made string toy with feathers on it. They even included a piece of fleece that is tied to the ladder so the kitties can sit in it as a hammock. How cute is that? This one was made for little kittens, but if you have a larger cat, you may want to use a larger ladder for the jungle gym so they fit comfortably. There are so many different ways you could decorate your kitty jungle gym and make it fit your home decor. Cat toys and scratching posts can be quite pricy in the store, so it's great that there's a tutorial showing us how to make one of our own. Plus, a lot of them don't really fit in with most people's home decor, and so it's nice to decorate it as you like. If you don't have a kitty, the video is really cute to watch anyway, even if you're not going to make the diy project. Check out some of the other fun and easy diys found on Buzzfeed's Nifty section and make something special for you or someone you love.***
