Artist creates Beyoncé statue out of cheese

It's probably safe to say that you've never seen anything quite like this sculpture that was recently made for the East Village Cheese and Wine festival held in London, England. Talk about good advertising. Sculptor David Bradley worked with The Robin Collective, an ad agency out of London, to create the cheese sculpture. A lot of cheese puns have been floated around trying to come up with a concept with Brie-oncé being the one everyone liked the most. After debating which picture to mimic, the team settled on Beyoncé's internet-breaking pregnancy photo that was posted in February. The ad agency talked about putting Babybel in the stomach, but it never actually happened. The cheese sculpture took about 28 hours to make and, despite its name, is made out of five blocks of cheddar cheese. The Brie-Oncé cheese sculpture took 45-pounds of mild cheddar cheese to make and is for the East Village Cheese and Wine Festival in London. The team also took just one knife, a paint brush along with a magnifying glass to complete the sculpture. Sculpting Brie-Oncé was just practice for Bradley as he prepares to go head-to-head with two other cheese sculptors during the Cheese Carving Championship.
