We all know how difficult it can sometimes be to get a clog out of our sink... You would rather not have to call a plumber either, since they can be ridiculously expensive, and sometimes all they have to do is put a snake down the drain to get the clog out. I get it though, I would want to be compensated too if I had to work around and with toilets and nasty clogs in drains too. It is not a super fun job, so I am grateful for the people who do it. You want to leave chemicals as a last resort, so why not try out using this super easy and natural, chemical free drain cleaner. All you need is some baking soda and some white vinegar. Just the regular old stuff you have in your pantry will do the trick. That is the beauty of this method, baking soda and vinegar cost little to nothing!

All you have to do is sprinkle some baking soda down the drain, and then just pour some vinegar down right after, it can also be warmed up a little to help the process. Then, all you have to do is pour hot water down the drain after waiting several minutes. The other option is to put baking soda AND salt down the drain and let it sit for several hours to really work on a bad clog. Then, just pour the hot water down the drain after you have waited, usually overnight. The baking soda works to unclog the drain, but it also helps to clean and purify it. Baking soda and vinegar are great for helping to remove nasty odours as well, so you will have a clog free, fresh smelling drain after doing this for your sink or bathtub drain. What a great, and natural solution!
