"What Was the Weird Light Seen Over Colorado Last Weekend?" Whenever there is any sort of UFO sighting, it manages to peak our interest and get us thinking of life on other plantets.
Over the last week there have been a few reports of night time aerial illuminations, that have managed to present data that is somewhat better than the ordinary UFO report. One report, involved a slow moving triangular formation that was seen passing over San Diego, as reported recently in The Mirror. A couple of weeks ago a couple were camping in Buena Vista, Colorado when they were watching the Milky Way while trying to warm up by the fire when they saw what was thought to be extremely bright jet headlights sitting in the eastern sky. The couple doesn't remember seeing the lights grow, as they do when jets climb into the sky, and they did not move. After a few minutes the lights bobbed up and down. Then they moved to the left and then back again and bobbed up. What could they be?

A UFO, otherwise known as an unidentified flying object, is any apparent anomaly in the sky that is not identifiable as a known object or phenomenon. Culturally, UFOs are associated with claims of visitation by extraterrestrial life or government related conspiracy theories, and have become popular subjects in fiction. While UFOs are often later identified, sometimes identification may not be possible owing to the usually low quality of evidence usually photos or low grade video, related to UFO sightings (generally anecdotal evidence and eyewitness accounts). Studies have established that most of the UFO observations are just misidentified conventional objects or natural phenomena, most commonly aircraft, balloons, noctilucent clouds, nacreous clouds, or astronomical objects such as meteors or bright planets with a small percentage even being hoaxes. While proponents of the extraterrestrial hypothesis suggest that these unexplained reports are of alien spacecraft, the hypothesis cannot be excluded that these reports are simply other more prosaic phenomena that cannot be identified due to lack of complete information or due to the necessary subjectivity of the reports.
